Since 1999, Derby Farm Flowers & Gardens has been offering what's often called an "eclectic" array of garden-inspired gifts and home goods.

Proprietors Sonia Lackey and Lucinda Chrislip are Arlington residents who purchased the store in September 2019. Both have helped shape the look and feel of Derby Farm: Sonia as our window dresser and buyer since 2007, and Lucinda as a lead designer since 2014.

Many people comment on the store’s great displays and fabulous flowers. Our talented staff, which includes accomplished designers, stylists, gardeners, sales people, writers and photographers, will greet you and introduce you to what loyal customers call an oasis of inspiration and calm.

We are inspired by nature and are constantly thinking of ways to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors. Our goal is to extend the garden from the glories of summer through the chill of winter. Throughout the year you'll find colorful pottery, botanical themed decor, and an array of gifts and products inspired by the garden.

As a full service florist we offer floral arrangements for any occasion and deliver throughout the greater Boston area. Our designers create gorgeous gardeny pieces and we provide wedding and event services.

We are committed to making choices that help our environment. We try to find solutions that are sustainable and eco-friendly in our floral products and packaging. We are part of the Slow Flower Movement and source local grown flowers during the New England growing season through local farms and co-ops such as Rooted Farmers. As members of 1% for the Planet we donate to local and national organizations that help protect plants and honeybees.
